Thermaflex® Opens 140,000 Square Foot Phoenix Manufacturing Facility
Thermaflex®, a flexible duct manufacturer, has opened a new 140,000 square foot manufacturing center in Phoenix, Ariziona. The company’s California facility will be phased out in August as equipment and materials are moved into the Phoenix location.
“We are very pleased too have obtained our goal of adding capacity for our West Coast market and customers,” states Thermaflex Executive Vice President Pat McCaffrey. “This more modern facility will allow us to operate much more efficiently, while offering shorter lead-times and better overall customer service. And the new facility positions Thermaflex to become a market leader on the West Coast.
Thermaflex also owns and operates a 310,000 square foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in Abbeville, South Carolina and another manufacturing facility in Cairo, Georgia.
Dan Kenny, owner of Danko Sales Company, could not be happier about the Thermaflex move. He has been the manufacturer’s representative for Thermaflex in Arizona and Las Vegas for 22 years.”It is huge,” said Kenny. “It is something I have been requesting for many years, and the advantage now is that my customers can have will-call; no more two or three day service, depending on freight companies. Now there is this local manufacturing and distribution facility that I can take care of my customers with. I am very excited about it.”
