Thermaflex, a subsidiary of Smiths Group, and a leading manufacturer of products for the HVAC markets is recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator for our Abbeville, South Carolina location.  The Payroll and Data Coordinator will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure company processes timecards and related paperwork in a timely and effective manner to ensure all production employees are compensated accurately.


  • Enter daily production timecards for Abbeville, SC
  • Review reports and compare to actual timecards for data accuracy daily.
  • Prepare additional ad-hoc reports as requested for review by Supervisors and Department Managers
  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly reports as needed by the Controller
  • Process all Customer and Supplier master file changes
  • Maintain required documents for Customer Master Files
  • Assist with various month end accounting responsibilities
  • Cross trained to assist with accounting functions in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Assist with monthly cycle count procedures
  • Assist with routine journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the payroll function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.


  • High school diploma or equivalent job experience 
  • Fluency with all core Microsoft applications
